University College Chichester
BA (Hons) QTS Early Years and Geography
Information about Lara
I have been a primary school teacher for 21 years and now work part time whilst bringing up my two girls. I have taught across the primary age range from Reception to Year 6 and particularly enjoy teaching early reading and writing skills. However I have had recent training in the new KS1 and KS2 phonics, spelling and grammar tests. I understand that some children find learning hard and so try to make learning fun! I enjoy getting to know my students likes/dislikes, strengths and weaknesses. I really enjoy working on a 1:1 with children and get a great sense of satisfaction watching them achieve their goals.
Availability: I am available most evenings as well as all day Thursday and Friday. I am happy to tutor over the school holidays and am also available at the weekends.
I prefer students to come to me but can travel locally if need be.
