I have been a primary school teacher for 21 years and have taught across the primary age range from Reception to Year 6. I particularly enjoy teaching early reading and writing skills. I have had recent training in the new KS1 Read, Write, Ink phonic scheme as well as KS1/KS2 spelling and grammar tests. I am also experienced in supporting and preparing children for their end of year SATS in year 6. I understand that some children find learning hard and so try to make learning fun! I enjoy getting to know my students and their preferred learning styles.

Availability: I am available most evenings and after school. I am happy to tutor over the school holidays and am also available at the weekends.
I prefer students to come to me but can travel locally if need be.

Experience: BA (Hons) with QTS in Early Years and Geography.

Twenty years teaching experience in primary schools.

Teaching basic Spanish to children and adults.

Teaching in an International school in Spain.

1:1 tutoring with children aged 4-12.
