I am a friendly and approachable person, who is passionate about helping children achieve their potential through personalised learning experiences.

Having worked for many years as an early years specialist, I have seen how powerful personalised learning can be. It can make such a difference for children to have learning opportunities presented to them in a way that they consider interesting and helpful. A balance of consolidation and challenge can be carefully established in order to support children’s confidence enabling them to thrive.

I have been a primary school teacher for 10 years and worked in 4 different schools, initially specialising in early years, philosophy for children and creativity. Over more recent years, I have broadened my teaching experience and have now successfully taught children from every primary year group (years 1-6) including children with special educational needs. I have also had experience of leading literacy across a primary school for a number of years.

I am up to date on the current Maths and English requirements for primary aged children and may be able to support English for secondary aged children too, dependent on the request. The support I provide is up to you and I am always eager to liaise with current teachers too so that we are all working together in order to obtain the best possible outcome for your child.
