Information about Heloise
Hello! Im a current Medical Student and Biomedical Science (BSc) and Immunology (MSc) graduate with a lifelong passion for helping others reach their full potential. As a mother of three, I understand how unique every childs learning journey can be, and I bring patience, empathy, and structure to every lesson.
Over the past 20 years, Ive worked as a mentor, advocate, and tutor for many teenage students, supporting them in building both confidence and academic excellence. I have also delivered teaching sessions on clinical teaching days at my university, led COVID-19 laboratories through to PTCAs, also extensive community initiatives, including painting and creating a library for my daughters primary school.
My academic strengths lie in Science, with a strong focus on Biology, but my experience extends beyond subject content. Being Neurodiverse, I have a special interest in neurodiversity and study skills, helping students discover how they learn best; an approach that empowers them not only to excel academically but also to thrive in all areas of life.
Several of my former students have gone on to study Medicine, Neuroscience, and other competitive degrees at top universities such as Manchester and Kings College London.
I provide a fully inclusive, supportive, and personalised tutoring service designed to meet each students individual needs, ensuring they have the tools, confidence, and motivation to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
