I am an experienced primary school teacher who is passionate about engaging children in an enjoyable learning experience and supporting them to reach their full potential. I am able to offer tutoring for Maths and/or English for pupils in KS2. I live in Pontefract and teach in Ossett.

Availability: Weekdays after 5.30pm

Experience: I have a 1st class honours degree in Primary Education (with a specialism in Mathematics) from Leeds Metropolitan University (2009).

I have taught across Key Stage 2 for the past 9 years and have experience in all year groups from 3 to 6.

I have a thorough knowledge of the KS2 SATs and experience in teaching for success in the tests, having taught Year 6 for the past 2 years. Part of my current role is working with targeted Year 6 intervention groups to accelerate progress.

I spent one year teaching in a British International School in Spain, working with children from a variety of backgrounds and many with English as an additional language; a challenge which I thoroughly enjoyed.
