I am in my second year of study for my BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies degree. I am happy to help your primary aged child with their literacy, math`s and/or geography, either in your home or online. I am positive, approachable, and consistent which I feel helps create a good atmosphere for your child to learn in. I believe in following a child-centered approach to learning. All sessions will be based around your child`s individual targets as I believe it will ensure that your child flourishes in their learning and development. I aim to create well-structured sessions with each session having a clear learning objective and to follow an interactive approach to learning.

Availability: I am very flexible with my availability and I am happy to start straight away. Length of sessions can vary in length from 30 mins to an hour depending on your child’s age.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: Most of my education experiences lie within the Early Years. I have completed placements in a preschool and a primary school Reception class which has provided me with knowledge of children`s early reading and writing skills. In the past, I have planned activities and supported children with their phonics, tricky words, writing, reading and their communication and language development.

I would also be able to offer tutoring for Key Stage 1 Math`s. I have experience in supporting children with their understanding of number and shape, space and measure.

I also have experience in supporting the learning of children who require a little bit more extra help and those who are more able.

Regarding Geography, I have extensive knowledge of the subject and I am very enthusiastic about providing all children with an excellent understanding of the world.
