Information about Rhian
Hi I`m Rhian, lover of photography, travel and hiking up mountains.
I graduated in 2012 from the University of Nottingham with a 2:1 in Law. After much soul searching, a couple of extra science AS Levels and a Masters degree in medical ethics & law I decided to follow my heart and apply to medical school - I am now in my second year and enjoying it immensely.
I have worked with children and young adults in various capacities, at summer camps, as a gymnastics coach, young leader at scouts and with university students as a seminar facilitator. I believe that success is largely due to the quality of one`s mentors and teachers and I have been fortunate enough to have had both and to have been inspired immeasurably by them. I would love to help other students achieve their potential in the same way that I have been helped during my years in education.
In particular, I have a lot of experience with exam and revision technique and believe I can help students to achieve their potential by working with them to find the method that best suits them.
I am also happy to help with medical school applications, having gone through this arduous process myself! I received interviews and offers from two medical schools and I am able to give advice and tutoring on the UKCAT, personal statements and interview preparation.

Experience: Kings College London, Seminar Facilitator January 2015 - Present
Kings medical school runs seminars for medical students in medical ethics and law. As a facilitator it is my responsibility to help the students further their knowledge of these topics by directing the discussion, clarifying technical points and ensuring that everyone in the group is involved.
