Information about Sharn
I have recently qualified as a Maths teacher and have worked as an unqualified teacher for the past five years. I have worked with a variety of students who struggle with Maths at school and adapted my teaching to allow all students learn. I am a confident and passionate person who wants to see people succeed. I enjoy Maths and this shows through my enthusiasm passed on to other students. I live at home with my husband who has had a negative experience at school and this has driven me to support students who are in the same situation he was. I am willing to go the extra mile for students as I believe there is no such word as can`t. I enjoy holidays and spending time with family and friends during my time off.

Experience: I have worked in two secondary schools for the past 10 years. During my time I have worked as a specialist learning support assistant for Maths and also taught year 7 and 8 as an unqualified Maths teacher for four years. I have also taught REAL projects which is a project-based learning curriculum and this has many academic benefits for young people. Teaching this subject allowed me to express creativity and bring this to my Maths teaching. I regularly work with year 11 to support their Maths GCSE lessons and offer one to one tuition after school with these students.
