Information about Alice
9 years teaching experience of GCSE, IGCSE and A level Chemistry (Sept 2014-Dec 2023) within several highly recognised UK independent schools, and have experience of tutoring pupils on a 1:1 basis both within a school environment and online. I’m able to adapt sessions to ensure that all students make progress and are able to achieve to their full potential.
I have taught many of the core exam boards at GCSE, IGCSE and A-level. As a teacher I have unlimited access to exam questions, past papers and exam board specifications.
I’m available to tutor online using a variety of different teaching styles to suit the needs of each individual student. I have worked as an A-level examiner for the June 2022 Chemistry A-levels, giving me an invaluable insight into exam marking and technique.
With a little bit of patience and the right attitude I believe that all students are capable of achieving their desired grade in chemistry, and I pride myself on helping students to build on their resilience and reflective skills allowing them to become a more confident and independent learner.

Alice is a really amazing tutor. She has built up my confidence in chemistry A-level. I always find that she is able to explain everything clearly and provides good practice resources. I have previously found chemistry challenging, but Alice has really helped me to improve my understanding. She is dedicated and professional and I highly recommend her.

My daughter is in Year 12 studying Chemistry. She has found it much more difficult than GCSEs and was especially struggling with the Math`s element. Alice has been a great help over the last 8 months and her results have improved significantly. Alice is very patient and diligent and has helped increase my daughter`s confidence and enjoyment in the subject.

Amazing tutor, she is excellent at explaining concepts and is always happy to send me extra questions on topics I am not confident on. She has helped me massively in Chemistry and I can`t thank her enough - my only regret is I didn`t start tutoring earlier.
