Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Lloyd, and I am a qualified secondary school science teacher with 7 years of direct teaching experience. I have been rated as an Outstanding teacher during various inspections throughout my 6 years of teaching. I currently teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics (up to and including GCSE level) alongside A-level Chemistry at an independent secondary school.

I offer both a genuine passion for scientific knowledge as well as a proven track record of effective science teaching. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than seeing students achieve their personal goals, since this contributes to their development into confident individuals. The ability to think, operate and communicate like a scientist is an essential part of success at GCSE science – to that end, my tutoring programme focuses on strengthening these crucial abilities.

I tailor my tutoring sessions to each individual student and my services are flexible – I am willing to host tuition and also travel to addresses in the local area, tuition out of the local area will be charged at a slightly higher rate due to the cost of travel.

Availability: My availability is flexible and I can cater for most time requirements.

I have previously conducted all day workshops as a method of intensive revision with great success and offer this as an option if required.
