I have taught in a variety of schools over the last sixteen years. I have experience of different exam boards and have taught both in the UK and abroad. Over the last decade I have successfully tutored pupils preparing for the GCSE examinations in English Language and English Literature. I have also worked with English as An Additional Language students and pupils who have fallen behind at Key Stage 3. I have a passion for English that I enjoy passing on to my students. I have worked as Head of English at a large international school and I am currently Leader of Key Stage 3 English at a school in Trafford, Greater Manchester. Recently, I have taught online lessons to students; I am available for face-to-face sessions or remote lessons. My specialism is the AQA Syllabus but I am able to teach the other ones too.
My most recent tutee achieved a Grade 8 in November 2020 after receiving a Grade 4 in June; this was by following a plan of two sessions per week for a three month period.

Availability: Evenings and weekends. Some daytime availability currently.
