This tutor agreed to tutor my son and agreed a day and time he was available on a weekly basis so I paid for his details. He then twice changed the date and then failed to show up at all with no communication whatsoever and failed to respond to my text and email asking if he was coming. He simply went silent which set a very poor example for my son.
Our son is in Year 6 of primary school. Due to prolonged teacher ill-health he had a half-term pre Christmas when he had a series of substitute teachers - result a confused child with undermined confidence who went from being on target to believing he was "bad at maths". My efforts to help my son only seemed to further undermine his confidence.
Stuart worked with my son once a week from mid January through to mid June. Within just a month, the difference in my son`s confidence and willingness to "give maths a go" was significant. He is now much more confident and, whilst he is not a maths prodigy, he is back on track and has a much more positive mindset - thanks Stuart :)
Stuart is a very good tutor we are pleased with his way of tutorin our son, punctual . he explains topics in depth and clearly. He understand the need of the student ,accordingly he plan the lessons.
Very good tutor. Knowledgeable. Would recommend.
Tutors Response :
Although sessions were booked; none were confirmed as the client repeatedly changed the dates of the sessions. The client was advised at the time of booking that my timetable was extremely busy and that changing fhe arranged days/times was not possible.
Stuart tutored my son for GCSE Business Studies and we were very happy with him. He was patient and persevering, and my son got an A in his GCSE, which he would never have managed without help.
Stuart has a very positive approach for teaching, so he inspired my daughter`s confidence towards her A level Economics exams. He also provided her with a lot of technical tips on examination technics. Stuart was also very cooperative and flexible with the time table. We do not have my daughter`s results yet, but she felt happier and more confident after just a few sessions with Stuart.
he is not replying to my messages or calls. he is a scam so do not trust this guy
Tutors Response :
This gentleman does not seem to understand that most tutors are teachers, and are unable to recieve phone calls during school hours.
The gentleman is actually a company looking for tutors, but is only paying £10per hour for group tutoring sessions. Fellow tutors beware.
Our son is preparing for GCSE Business studies this month. He needed additional support and has found Stuart extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He is already feeling more confident about tackling the papers.
Stuart has been attentive, prompt, organised and enthusiastic in his support
