I am a fully qualified teacher of History and Politics, and currently teach both at A Level. I obtained a degree in History at Cardiff University, and I am currently studying a Masters in Education at the University of Exeter. I have three-four years experience of teaching a range of ages from year 7 up to year 13, and have extensive knowledge of curriculum and exam skills. I am also employed by Pearson (Edexcel) as an examiner for A Level examinations.
In addition to this, I also offer Maths tutoring. I have a natural flair for the subject and have experience tutoring family friends the subject. I can tutor both foundation and higher level at GCSE. As a fully qualified teacher, I can apply my knowledge of pedagogy to a high standard of maths tutoring.
I have a great passion for both of my subjects, which I hope to share with you. My students would describe me as organised, fun and supportive. I have high expectations for myself and all of my students and support them every step of the way.
Not only can I help you with subject specific tutoring, I am happy to share further tutorial advice. My role in my current post at a FE college also includes running an Honours Academy, where I help high aspiring students with university applications (including Oxbridge and Medicine) and university skills. I am happy to offer this help and guidance to you too.

Availability: I am available to each online on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and on Sunday. However, if this is not suitable, please contact me and I can see if I am able to be flexible.

After qualifying, I was a supply teacher for a range of schools in the Somerset area, teaching at GCSE level.
