Hello! Thank you for viewing my ad.

My name is Liam and I offer Irish lessons in London to anyone with an interest in learning the language.

Whether you`ve learned Irish previously and have your cúpla focail (a couple of words), or you`re totally new to Irish, I can help you get to grips with the unique and challenging language that is Irish.

A little about me: I am from Galway City, on the West Coast of Ireland. My family are Irish speakers on my father`s side, and I regularly spent time in the Connemara Gaeltacht growing up (an Irish-speaking region of Ireland just outside Galway City). I have a master`s degree in linguistics and currently tutor part time in London alongside other part time work in the third sector.


Lessons are available in my home in Hackney E5, or in a location convenient to us both in East or Central London.

Lessons cost £30 per hour. The first lesson can be paid for individually to let you decide if you want to continue with your studies. After that, lessons are booked in blocks of at least 4 lessons at a time (i.e. 4 x £30 = £120). This is for my security as a teacher.
