Deshawn

My name is Mr Deshawn I hold a First Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance and a PGCE Secondary Mathematics from Greenwich University.

I am a qualified maths teacher who enjoys teaching. I want to make a difference in children’s lives by helping them get the best possible start while at school, especially in maths which many children find difficult.

I like to keep up with currents affairs, spend time with my family and play football.

Availability: Evening weekdays from 5:30pm
Saturdays from 11am

Experience: I have been teaching in a secondary capacity for many years. I run GCSE intervention classes for my year 11 students (Foundation and Higher Tier), focusing on exam techniques whilst addressing the gaps in their subject knowledge so that they are better equipped to obtain a Grade 5 and above.
I also have a vast amount of experience in tutoring children and young people, therefore I am able to teach maths on a 1:1 levelI, breaking down barriers to learning by providing the necessary support and help to enable my students progress.
