Shayna

Hello, my name is Shayna and I am a second year student at UCL reading Arts and Sciences (specialising in English Literature and Physics). Previously, I completed the International Baccalaureate at Dartford Boys Grammar School, with a result of 44 points out of 45.

I offer tutoring for IB students in English, Physics, Psychology and Maths. For GCSE students in English, Maths, Physics, Biology or Chemistry and KS3 students (or younger) in Maths, English and Science. I also love to teach beginner pianists.

Having completed my own exams recently, I am extremely familiar with the process and can guide students in how to answer exam papers as well as understand the material. My lessons are always engaging and show the interesting side of school! I have also taught a range of abilities- some students wanting to go from an A to an A* and others from a D to a C. It is all possible!

Experience: I have been tutoring for three years and have taught five students: English language and literature at GCSE level, a beginner pianist, Maths and Science at KS3 level, and reading and writing at primary level.

In June 2014, I also ran a creative writing workshop for a group of five gifted-and-talented children at St James RC Primary School.
