11 Plus Tutor in Dartford
I am a qualified teacher, currently specialised in 11 Plus tuition. I have worked in various schools as a Maths teacher, hence I fully understand the national curriculum of each year group.
I am a patient and motivating teacher. I have helped many young learners to achieve great results in 11 plus. 15 students of mine passed the 11 plus exam (Kent Test) last yaear
I use a variety of approaches whilst tutoring. It varies from pure problem solving, questioning, activities, Bingo Maths, Treasure hunt etc.
Being a teacher, I strongly believe that one cannot excel in Maths without a strong foundation of basic 11+ skills. My main focus area will be to give a clear understanding of the basics of each topic.
In order to identify the weaker areas, I conduct an initial assessment. I plan lessons based on the result of the Initial assessment.

I have found Martin to been a great help to with my daughter to understand maths because at school the teachers do not have enough time to fully explain the subject matter, where as Martin is both very patient very good at explaining it. Martin always plans out the coming lessons work in advance and lets my daughter know what is going to be covered.
I have found that both my daughters confidence and understanding of maths has been greatly helped by Martin.
I have no problem with giving Martin my full recommendation as math tutor.

Martin has been excellent in his delivery of tutition. He is able to break things down so that the learner is able to use simple methods to solve difficult problems. His teaching style is also to be commended as he is very calm, patient but also challenging. I believe he will be a great help for my son`s forthcoming exams.
