I am a very approachable teacher who has a motivating personality, excellent subject knowledge (having worked with various examination boards, e.g. AQA, OCR, Edexcel,etc), very good inter-personal skills, a lot of patience and a good sense of humour.

Experience: I have been in the teaching profession for some twenty-five years and so have a lot of experience in schools and colleges.My main teaching specialism is English (GCSE and A Level) but I have also taught Media Studies (GCSE and A Level) my PGCE also includes PE, which I have also taught.

My main experience has been in a sixth form college and in further education colleges. I have taught group sizes ranging from one to twenty-five during this time! I feel I have the versatility to teach successfully groups of any size. I do relish the idea of teaching one-to-one or small group sizes. I can adapt a range of teaching styles, using Power point, interactive, etc. dependent on student needs and flexibility in learning.
