Hafsa

Hi! I`m glad you came to my profile. My name is Hafsa and I am currently in the last year of a maths undergraduate degree achieving first-class throughout my modules. I am dedicated to showing people the brilliance of maths and stopping the widespread hate for the subject. I`m even writing my third-year dissertation on why people hate maths and how we can make learning better for them. I love Maths and really enjoy tutoring, whether it is primary school Maths or A-level. I have a thorough understanding of mathematical methods and I have a knack for helping people who are struggling, to understand better. Since I did my own A-Levels and GCSEs not too long ago as well as helping other students, I am up to date with the curriculum and can give exam tips. I`ll make sure I get the correct curriculum for your exam board and teach you everything you need to know to cover the syllabus.
I am friendly and patient and people I interact with tend to automatically feel comfortable around me. I`m willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are progressing steadily while enjoying the lessons.
I currently teach Islamic studies to young children and they would all agree that my lessons are fun and they are comfortable talking to me about anything and learning from me. I`m hoping to become a Secondary school Maths teacher once I graduate and already have a lot of experience.

I can tutor girls of any age and boys under the age of 11. I am willing to do short-term or one-off emergency bookings too.

I am open to students coming to my house to be tutored or having lessons online. If a student needs me to travel to their house, I can travel up to a mile on the weekends. if you have any queries please feel free to message me and we can arrange the best time for us both.

Experience: - I have tutored students in GCSE maths along with other subjects and they have all received good grades.
- I have work experience in enrichment classes alongside teachers for struggling maths students.
- I also independently mentor small groups of students for the past 4 years with the responsibility of planning fun and beneficial lessons.
