Information about Nicky
I am passionate about supporting students who lack confidence in Maths. I have taught many subjects but I am now focusing on offering support for KS3 Maths and GCSE Maths (Foundation Tier preferred).
Availability: Academic Year 2026 - 2027 - I am able to now take enquiries for Maths tuition for KS3 and GCSE Foundation Tier for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and may be able to offer some slots from June 2026 and during the summer.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have had broad experience of teaching in primary classrooms and teaching Maths in KS3 and 4.
I have 7 years of experience in schools as a teacher of additional needs and have had responsibility as a SenCo. I have been tutoring for 11+, Maths and English for the last 15 years.

My son has been struggling with his maths and we decided to get him some help. He has only had one lesson with Nicky so far but the lesson went very well. Nicky has a lovely calm nature which made my son feel comfortable. She also is the right tutor for him as she enjoys working with students who just need that extra bit of help and confidence to get over the line. My son was already felt more confident at factorising after just 1 lesson. We are looking forward to future lessons with her.

We highly recommend Nicky! She taught our son 6 years ago and we were delighted when she had availability for our daughter for her 11+. She has worked so well with our daughter and increased her confidence as well as her skills and knowledge. She is very helpful and professional and made both children welcome and relaxed.
