Information about Cecilia
I am a qualified teacher of Latin, Classical Civilisation and Italian. I hold a degree in Philosophy, History and Literature from the Italian University of Cagliari, as well as a Master Degree in Second Language Learning and Teaching from the University of London. I qualified with a PGCE in French and Italian from the University of Leicester and have been teaching in secondary schools since September 2002.
Now working part time, I teach Latin and Classical Civilisation to students age 13-18, mostly at GCSE and A level, including Oxbridge applicants, with excellent exam results. I mentor ITTs from Cambridge University and I have successfully tutored students of all ages and levels, both face to face and online.
I regularly examine for OCR GCSE and A level Latin.
Availability: Available in the summer holidays for students wishing to ensure they start the new academic year with more confidence. Will also have availability during the new school term, starting September 2025.
