I retired from teaching French and English in a comprehensive school in 2001 and lived in France until 2011,doing private tuition and translating. I returned to the UK after the birth of my first grandchild to play a supporting role. I now have some spare time and would like to return to my first love of teaching French and/or English.
I enjoy tutoring because of the freedom it allows me to tailor lessons to individual needs.I derive huge satisfaction from enabling people to succeed.

Availability: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday daytime Tuesday and Thursday evening.

Experience: I have taught French and English in secondary schools from Year 7 to Year 13 for 20 years. I have done private tutoring in both England and France.I also did some translating and interpreting in France.
