I am an experienced and fully qualified teacher of Religious Studies and Philosophy. I have a BA in Theology and Religion from the University of Oxford.

I love my subject and take great joy in passing this enthusiasm on to my pupils. I believe that excellent subject knowledge is the foundation of high-quality tutoring, which is why I only tutor the subject in which I have a degree and teach every day. My advanced subject knowledge enables me to explain complex concepts in religion and philosophy with clarity and precision and to draw links across the curriculum.

Experience: Since graduating with a BA in Theology and Religion from the University of Oxford, I have taught full-time in English secondary schools. I have Qualified Teacher Status and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. I currently teach at one of the top-performing schools in North London.

As I am currently teaching GCSE and A-Level, I am well-placed to support pupils to achieve their examination goals. I can give tailored guidance on exam technique and my knowledge of examination specifications enables me to focus tutoring sessions on the most essential content.

I am committed to developing positive relationships with those I teach. I am patient and a skilled listener, and I am sensitive to the academic stresses my students might be facing.
