I am a professional musician with 17 years teaching experience. I am able to teach piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, keyboard, music theory, composition, improvisation and song writing. I am happy to accommodate all styles of music from modern pop songs, rock, jazz, blues to classical and folk. I am able to adapt my teaching styles to cater for the needs and preferences of individual students some students thrive in a structured environment whilst other prefer a more relaxed approach. I am friendly and approachable and have a good sense of humour and am able to put nervous students at ease and inspire more capable students to progress. I do my best to pass on my passion for music, writing and performing and encourage others to find their own passion I am also able to accompany singers and musicians, giving advice and building confidence to both play and perform. I run local events which are a good platform for budding musicians of all ages, from more experienced musicians and singer/songwriters to a complete novice, it is a great opportunity to showcase their talents in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
