Filipe

I’m Filipe, a concert violinist based in London. I`ve performed as a soloist, chamber music and orchestra over the years in countries such as Portugal, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, England, Italy and Estonia.

I`m very interested in teaching violin. It`s something that I`ve been doing over the last five years, from beginners to university level. I can prepare you for ABRSM exams.

I studied with some of the most prestigious musicians of today such as Viktor Tretyakov, Pavel Vernikov, Renaud Capuçon, Andrej Baranov, Sergey Kravchenko, Barnabás Kelemen, Aníbal Lima e Irene Lima. I was laureated in some national and international competitions such us the prize winner of the Grande Concurso Lions 2016, representing Portugal in the International European Competition in Bulgaria among others.

I’m currently playing on a violin by Christian Bayon, made specifically for me.


I can teach in English. Portuguese and Spanish.
