As a British educated, trained and qualified teacher with DBS safety checks, I’m currently teaching A- levels and GCSEs in a London sixth form. I’m a highly experienced and knowledgeable science teacher having taught in private and state schools.
With a minimum of 30 hours tuition my students have raised their grades by at least 2 levels and often even more. Some have gone from a C to an A and level 6 to level 9. My focus is teaching effective exam strategies and the use of technical terminology.

Experience: 25 years of teaching A level/ IB / GCSE / iGCSE all exam boards ( AQA, OCR, WJEC, EDUQAS, CIE, Edexcel) in schools and sixth form centres, both private and state. Also very successful in supporting home educated groups/ individuals.
As an actively employed permanent teacher in a well established traditional educational establishment, so I take a limited number of students.

Gupri has really helped me by identifying my weaknesses and working on them. She focuses on harder questions by giving me templates of keywords for longer answers and gives specialised packs of exam questions which I find really useful. Unlike my school, Gupri helps with data analysis questions and application of knowledge questions. Although my teachers didn`t have time to cover all the content, Gupri covered the areas they didn`t have time for including help and advice with essays. Exam practice and technique is vital for achieving higher grades in Biology A level, after having lessons with Gupri my grade increased from a D to a B in the subsequent mock and I was predicted an A on UCAS from this and will hopefully achieve this in the summer. I really appreciated flexible lessons as and when required as I have a constantly changing schedule.
