Information about Isabelle
Hi, my name`s Isabelle and I`m a second year Liberal Arts student at the [contact detail removed]. After previous experience being a tutor and a mentor, I am committed to helping and guiding students with their education and making them see the fun side to school too! At school, I really enjoyed all my subjects so much - not fitting in to either being a Maths or English student because I loved both! At A Level, I achieved 4 A*s In English Literature, Religious Studies, Economics and an Extended Project Qualification and I studied Maths in Year 12. At GCSE, I achieved 9 grade 9s and 8s and a B in the Free Standing Maths Qualification (which is a qualification at an AS Level standard). My grade 9s were in English Literature, English Language, Maths and History. I feel as though I have a lot of expertise in exam technique and revision skills to help you excel and get the best grades possible for you. I was also tutored as a child to pass the 11+ (which I did and attended a grammar school) and to be pushed beyond my primary school education. Having a tutor explain topics to me in a way that made sense to me made the subject so much more engaging and enjoyable. I love studying Liberal Arts at university because it gives me the opportunity to remain a well-rounded student and to explore lots of my passions in higher education. The interdisciplinary nature of the course make me approach problems from varied angles and has allowed me to progress in my confidence and way of thinking.
In my free time, I love to dance and act and play sports.
I love animals and volunteer work and reading and being with friends!
Availability: I am very flexible with my availability AM and PM, 7 days a week - whatever works best for you. Just get in touch with me further to arrange a specific time.
I am also only available to teach online because I am at university.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have had experience tutoring and mentoring younger students, so I can easily connect and communicate with any age group.
I have tutored family friends on the 11+ and SATS as well as GCSE and A Level practise.
I have volunteered in primary schools and taught younger students English and Maths.
I am very capable of tutoring at any standard, whether that be primary school level or A Level as I know the tips and tricks to gain the best grades possible.
