Information about Rachel
I am a secondary Maths teacher with many years of tutoring experience. I hold a First Class Honours in BSc Mathematics from King`s College London, as well as an MRes Distinction in Modelling Biological Complexity from University College London.
When tutoring, I aim to build a student`s confidence in using Maths by highlighting what they can already do, tailoring learning to fill in any gaps in skills/content and then helping them to see what they can achieve as a result of this. I am friendly, approachable and very enthusiatic about my subject.
Availability: 4.30-6.30pm Mondays
5-6pm Tuesdays
Due to a conflict of interests, I unfortunately cannot offer tutoring to students who attend either of the secondary schools in St Neots.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I am currently working as a Maths teacher and have also worked as a tutor for 7 years, teaching a variety of levels from primary up to A level. Whilst at university, I led tutorials for undergraduate students.

I asked Rachel to tutor my Granddaughter. They get on well together, and after the first four sessions my Granddaughter is very pleased with the progress she is making and feeling much more confident about her forthcoming maths exams.
