Information about Hussam
I remember the day I decided I was going to get a maths tutor. I was studying A-level maths very early on in the syllabus trying to figure out a question in the C1 Edexcel textbook. God only knows how long I stared at it for, I don`t know the details of the question, what about it that was confusing me so much but what I remember the most is the visceral frustration I was experiencing at that point. You see, it wasn`t only that question but my journey for a long time was filled with the inability to get it. Some things I understood here but over there I just couldn`t connect the dots. And I simply had enough. Looking back now, I guess I felt that away because at the end of the day I knew really wanted to be good at this thing, to excel at this thing, to ride it like a surfer rides a wave. Thats when I phoned my friend up who had told me about a tutor who frequently taught at him and his younger siblings. That woman changed my life. It took a few months to get into the swing of things, like the first moments going to the gym where it would take only a few months to realise something feels different. You feel stronger, quicker, more agile. At that point I never let the momentum drop and achieved 100 percent in C1, C2 and 99 percent in C3. I took the rest of my exams early and finished with an A* overall.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have 100 percent in 3 out of 4 A-level core math modules and an A* overall. At university I studies maths with physics obtaining a 2.1 overall. I`ve been tutoring on and off since my A-level days.
