Neil

Hi I’m Neil, a passionate and experienced maths teacher based in North London. I have a degree in Business Studies, a Masters in Finance and a PGCE in maths teaching from the University of the West of England.
I understand that each student has different needs and preferences thus I will adapt my lessons to your preferred learning style. I will change the lesson topics based on what you are struggling with and what you would like to improve on. After building up the foundations of a topic I believe learning from exam questions is the best method to maximise your success in exams and beyond!

Experience: Over the last four years I have successfully guided students from years 7 to 11 in a range of abilities through their school years and up to their GCSE exams. I trained in schools in Bristol and then worked as a maths teacher at a school in Bristol for two years before moving to London to work at a school in North East London. As well as teaching at school I have been a maths tutor at GCSE level and primary level on the side for the past two years. I have also worked as a supply teacher for a year at a school in Dublin.
