I hold a PhD in English from the University of Southampton. Before studying for my PhD, I was awarded a Masters with Distinction in English Literature and an BA (Hons) in English and Creative Writing from Kingston University. I have a TEFL qualification and have taught English as a foreign language to children of all ages. I am able to provide expert tutoring in English Literature, from essay writing to improving your close reading skills. I have had my research published in academic journals and am currently turning my PhD into a book.
I love teaching and tutoring, and tailor all my sessions towards the individual student. It can be difficult to get the support you need in classrooms, especially at the moment, so I`m here to provide one on one guidance to help you improve your grades and foster passion for your subject!

Availability: I am available on weekdays and at the weekend.

Experience: I have experience teaching a range of modules within English Literature at university level and have helped my students achieve measurable results by improving marks between assignments. I have also taught postgraduate students in research skills and assignment writing. I am able to offer insider knowledge of the university system, and can offer professional tutoring as somebody who has been through it and taught within it.
