Hello!

Many people find chemistry hard- and it can be! At GCSE it can be quite abstract- with some tricky maths involved, and the step-up to A-level is a big jump from GCSE. But it does not have to feel like it`s impossible!Everyone learns at a different rate and nearly everyone needs a helping hand at some point along the way.

I am head of chemistry in a mixed comprehensive in Epsom. I know what`s required for you to achieve and surpass your target grades. I really enjoy tutoring and giving help where it`s needed.

Availability: I tutor mainly at weekends but can offer some tutoring during the week. If you are interested in tutoring during the week please contact me with the time/day you were thinking of and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Experience: I have been teaching several years and am Head of Chemistry in my school. I teach GCSE and AS/A-level and have taught at KS3. Before I became a teacher I spent several years as a Research Chemist in both industry and university. I do not offer the first lesson as free, but prefer to do a little "meet and greet" with no cost- this way you can decide if you would like me to tutor your children going forward, and give a me a better idea of the help they need.
