Information about Jon
Hi, I`m Jon. I have been a qualified PE teacher for 3 years. I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a 2:1 BA Hons in Sports Development. I did my teacher training at Worcester University through the GTP route. I have taught PE from KS1 all the way through to A Level PE. I have a range of teaching styles and have taught all abilities. I currently teach the skill acquisition and opportunities for participation in A Level PE. I have also been an exam marker for Edexcel, so I have good knowledge of what the exam boards are looking for.
My PE GCSE group achieved a pass rate (A* - C) of 83% this year. I had many students who were C/D borderline.
In my spare time I like to play Rugby and go to the gym.
Availability: I am available Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5pm till late.
Tuesdays and Thursday from 5-6pm
Available Saturday mornings and all day Sunday.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have been teaching for 5 years (Including training year). I have taught GCSE, BTEC and A Level PE. My recent success has been achieving 83% A*-C in my GCSE class. Throughout the school year I run one to one session for my students.

we found Jon through this site and were absolutely delighted ! He quickly established a rapport with Tom who felt very comfortable asking questions that in class he found difficult to address.
Jon was calm and reassuring and helped Tom with the practical course as well as the written syllabus.
We nervously await A level results next week but safe in the knowledge we could not have had any better support for Tom in his crucial U6 year.

Jon always confirms his appointment beforehand and is always punctual. He makes the lessons enjoyable and they are always well presented and easy to understand especially as Qasim is dyslexic.
