Hi I`m James. I`m a 19 year old 2nd Year Chemical Engineering Student at The University of Nottingham. I`m punctual, friendly and understanding of Tutees having only recently come through the education system myself and having a brother currently in his A-level years I help every now and again. My main interests are Sports (in particular Football and Tennis), Music and Film.

Availability: My availability varies every week depending on how much University work I get set however I am typically free at weekends and the majority of weekday afternoons/evenings.

Experience: In Sixth Form I tutored several Year 11 students in Chemistry and Maths. I have also completed Peer Mentoring training so have helped younger students with issues regarding their approach to learning (revision techniques) and in some extreme circumstances personal issues i.e. Bullying.

I am mainly able to provide tutoring in Maths, Chemistry and Physics as these were the subjects I took at A Level and enjoyed enough to want to do a degree in which I use these skills everyday. I am flexible in terms of my approach to delivering help. I will look to tutor to suit the Tutee by fitting with how they feel comfortable learning i.e. A more visual based approach with diagrams and pictures if they are a Visual learner.
