I`m a qualified UK architect and have been a design tutor at Cardiff University for over 10 years. I gained a 1st class degree from the Welsh School of Architecture, as well as my part 2 degree, followed by my part 3 diploma from Westminster University.

My architectural interests range from the pragmatic to the poetic, based on the primacy of the human body and its experience of the world.

I can help you develop design ideas, improve your presentation methods, and learn new software. I can help you get started in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Vectorworks, Photoshop, InDesign, TwinMotion, Affinity Photo, Affinity Publisher, Affinity Designer, and other software.

As a practising architect I`m able to provide excellent knowledge of construction detailing and technical coordination. I can give advice and coaching on the preparation of CV`s and portfolios.

I`m patient and calm, and believe that honest and positive feedback creates the best learning environment.

Availability: I`m available for regular bookings during the week, evenings, and weekends. The run up to deadlines get very busy, so booking well in advance is sensible towards the end of term.

Willing to travel: 50 miles

Experience: I`ve worked in small and large architect`s offices across the south of England, and for the last 15 years I`ve been running my own small practice. Alongside that work I`ve been a tutor at the Welsh School of Architecture helping hundreds of students to make the most of their skills and talent. I`ve also been a guest critic and tutor at other schools of Architecture across the UK.
