Hello! My name is Georgia and I am a current MSc Mathematics student and a first class BSc Mathematics graduate from the University of Edinburgh. I studied maths, further maths and physics at A Level, obtaining grades A*, A, A and I am enthusiastic about the broad, exciting world of maths.

I am available to tutor Mathematics and Further Mathematics at GCSE and A Level. I like to ask my students what they feel they are struggling with at the beginning of each lesson so we can tackle their specific needs. During my studies in mathematics I have learnt that the key to understanding concepts is practise and application.
With new students I begin by running through questions in a variety of topics to gain an understanding of where they are finding difficulty, and then structure the next few weeks of tutoring around this. I believe that the best thing about tutoring is the opportunity for students to make mistakes in a safe space so that they can learn from them.

Experience: I am currently studying for MSc Applied Mathematics at Heriot-Watt University.
I gained a first class BSc Mathematics with Honours from the University of Edinburgh in 2022.
I achieved A*, A, A in Maths, Further Maths and Physics A Levels in 2019.
I achieved grade 9 in Maths GCSE in 2017.

I began tutoring GCSE and A Level mathematics in 2022 and found a passion for encouraging a mathematical interest in young people.
