Information about Freddie
I am a young adult with a 2:1 Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PGCE in Secondary Education. I have vast teaching and tutoring experience from primary through to secondary, working mainly as a maths teacher but also working as a TA in all subjects. I am fully DBS checked through my current school and have vast experience working with SEN and lower prior ability students. While I have experience with working with high attaining students, my specialty is working with those who have anxiety around mathematics and need a calm empathetic approach to build confidence.
I have a very keen interested in both sport and music, allowing me to build relationships with pupils easily by finding common ground. I have extensive vocational experience in industry, giving me desirable organisational and interpersonal skills for working with parents.
Availability: Flexible both weekdays, weekends and holidays

Experience: Over the last 4 years I have taught at comprehensive schools in London, teaching with a scholarship from the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IOMA) during my training. I have experience teaching both KS3 and KS4 in mixed/set classes as well as mixed gender and at a single gender school as well as a year experience in both working as an TA at KS2, KS3 and KS4. I have tutored in school during my year experience as a TA and over the last 2 years I tutored 6 students from KS2 to KS5 This extensive experience gives me the ability to support any student of any ability/background to become more confident and attain their target grade or better.
