Information about Talha
Hard-working, enthusiastic and patient. I am a very interactive learner and will incorporate a lot of visual cues into teaching to ensure long-term memory and understanding of a topic rather than spoon-feeding through a textbook. Having experienced the recent changes to specification, I will ensure the student will be aware of the specific exam technique used to get the top grades.
Availability: I am willing to teach everyday.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have taught 20+ A Level and GCSE students of varying abilities during a period of 18 months in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Two years ago I finished my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, whereby I achieved straight 3A*s, and am currently studying Medicine at UCL. At GCSEs, I had achieved 10 A* and an A (including two grade 9s and an A** in Further Maths). Furthermore, I had been appointed as Biology subject captain at sixth form whereby I taught difficult concepts to students with varying backgrounds and abilities.
