I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching in classrooms and providing private tuition. I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies (2:1) and completed my PGCE in Primary Education at the Institute of Education (IOE), UCL. I have also gained a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification.

I currently work as a supply teacher, which has given me the opportunity to teach across a wide range of primary schools and year groups. This has broadened my knowledge of different teaching approaches, school environments and learning needs, allowing me to adapt my teaching style to suit every child. My flexible role also enables me to work closely with the home education community and dedicate more time to private tutoring.

I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring children aged 4–12 and supporting them through key milestones and entrance examinations, including the Phonics Screening Check, KS1 and KS2 SATs, and 4+, 7+ and 11+ entrance exams.

My aim is to make learning enjoyable, engaging and confidence-building. Every child learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit each student’s individual learning style, interests and pace. Whether your child needs support to catch up, build confidence, prepare for exams or be challenged further, I create lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.

I have experience supporting children with a range of learning needs and understand the importance of adapting lessons accordingly. If your child has any additional needs or difficulties, please let me know before our first session so I can prepare appropriate resources and teaching strategies to help them succeed.

My tuition follows the National Curriculum while being personalised to meet each child’s goals. I also provide optional homework and additional resources where appropriate to reinforce learning between sessions.
