Information about Barbara
I have been teaching for over 35 years, and have enjoyed working with children from nursery to adulthood. I have been a Principal of two schools. More recently I have been working as private tutor, both face to face and on line either Skype or telephone. I really enjoy this type of teaching as it allows you to build a relationship with your pupil/student and work from their strengths towards an individual goal. I particularly enjoy helping those who seem to be struggling to achieve success.
Also as a student (PhD) myself I know what writing and achieving for deadlines feels like.
2015 - 100% of students tutored gained A or A* in this years exams. Happy students, happy parents but also very happy tutor, my best year yet (not sure I can get higher).
Availability: Flexible, and varied but includes after school and weekends
