I am predominantly an English teacher who has completed an English SKE course recently so I am familiar with the national curriculum requirements.
I specialise in literature and theatre but have subject knowledge in humanities in general as well as philosophy and religious studies. I have taught writing courses in South Korea so am comfortable working with students with English as a second language or just to support through secondary school in general to a high level.
I am quite fun and lively and hope to inspire passion in the subjects I teach. I don`t drive so online lessons are preferable.

Experience: I am about to start my secondary English PGCE at the University of Manchester. I have a level 5 TEFL qualification and I have taught and helped create a theatre IB syllabus in South Korea last year. I have supported students with English as a second language in Manchester and completed supply work as well.
My undergraduate degree was in philosophy and I did complete teaching placements in schools in the South East in 2005 and I worked at a school for street children in Ghana in 2003.

This summer I volunteered teaching a short course for Ukrainian refugees in English. For many years I worked managing hospitality so I have a combination of skills enabling me to be fair, calm and fun.
