Hola!
It`s María! I am from a small and beautiful town called ‘Arriondas’ located in Asturias, which is in North of Spain. Teaching is my passion. I love giving my lessons as well as preparing them and searching for new activities and materials. My teaching method is communicative and I use a wide range of styles and activities to engage with my students and help turn the class into a fun and friendly time.

Availability: I am open to give you a hand with your Spanish at anytime, one by one or online.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I hold the British Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I have a Bachelor Degree in Journalism from the University of the Basque Country (Spain) and I have as well a PGCE in Secondary and Sixth Form Teaching, Vocacional Training and Language Teaching, Specialising in Spanish Language and Liteature, which I obtained at the Valencian International University. I also have a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language certified by University of Roehampton and Instituto Cervantes.

I have taught in Special Needs Schools around London and in Secondary Schools based in Spain. Currently, I am teaching Spanish and Music in nurseries and Spanish to Adults in Cactus Languages. I can help your children with their GCSE, DELE or A-levels exams or give you a hand with your Spanish since I have experience with students from 1 year old to 75 years old.
