I have a degree in business, and am currently teaching at a sixth form college in the Blackpool area. The primary subject I am responsible for teaching is Business, which includes A Level and BTEC L3 Business courses.

I have always been interested in business, as I studied the subject for 7 years before becoming a teacher. I completed my undergraduate degree in Business Management at Edge Hill University, and then gained my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Secondary Business (11-19).

I have been teaching for 5 years, and in that time I have had the opportunity to work with many different students. I can offer diverse resources to help with revision, assignment support and exam preparation. Each of the sessions will be specifically designed for each student, using teaching techniques proven to support your needs. This will help you get the best grade possible.

I have been an experienced business tutor for 4 years, and have helped many students. I have taught students in my local community, as well as across the nation and even internationally. If you need help with A Level Business, we focus on exam technique, while still covering all the content in a structured way. This will give you plenty of time to revise and practice before the exams. If you are taking BTEC Business and need support, I can help with exam technique for the exams in January, as well as structuring and drafting the assignments due throughout the course.

I make myself available for the students at any time, so they can contact me at any day of the week if they have any queries or questions. I want to ensure they ask for support whenever they need.

Availability: Mostly weekday evenings, 5pm onwards.
However, happy to discuss and agree on different timings if the above does not suit.

Experience: I am currently employed as a college teacher, where I mainly teach A Level and BTEC L3 Business courses. I started teaching at this college 5 years ago, and I am still teaching there now. For A Level Business, I focus mainly on the Pearson Edexel specification. This involves addressing the four themes, with a strong focus on exam technique. For BTEC Business, I have taught various units, both those that are exam-based and those that are assignment based.

I have had four years of tutoring on Tutorhunt, teaching students across the UK and in other countries. I cater to each student to ensure they have everything they need to achieve the best grade possible.
