Information about Owen
I offer tuition up to a degree standard in Religious Studies, Theology, History, Classics, and Philosophy. I can also teach English Literature to a school standard (GCSEs, A Levels). I am happy to learn new curricula. I believe education is about much more than passing exams, though that`s a happy side effect; education in the Humanities rounds us as humans, and develops our values. I practise a broadly classical style of education.
Availability: I can offer most daytimes, most early evenings except for Thursday, and occasional Saturday.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have a Bachelors in Theology (1st), a Masters in Biblical Studies (Merit), and am currently undertaking a PhD in Biblical Studies and Classics (finishing 2020). I have previously tutored privately up to a Bachelors standard, and have taught in the classroom in University as well.
