Information about Lucy
I have been a self-employed tutor, workshop facilitator and mentor for the last seven years. I have a First Class BA (Hons) in Creative Writing and Journalism and an MFA (Distinction) in Creative Writing, specialising in poetry. I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (PGCLTHE). As part of this qualification I taught creative writing to undergraduates for the academic year 2012-2013, and have also supervised at postgraduate level.I am a widely published writer, poet and walking artist. My work has been featured in The Guardian and on BBC Radio 4, and is taught as part of the Open University MA in Creative Writing.
I feel much more confident with my writing and language analysis. Lucy has helped me significantly throughout the years and I am very grateful for everything. I would definitely recommend her for everyone! Fantastic tutor.

I am patient and friendly and will tailor sessions to meet the individual needs and requirements of each student, at whatever level they are studying at. This could mean a focus on spelling, punctuation and grammar, essay writing or reading comprehension and text analysis. I am also aware of the importance of exam skills and the difference these can make in attaining grades, particularly for GCSE and A levels.
