I left classroom teaching a few years ago and have done a lot of private tuition since then, as well as some during previous years beginning with a North Tyneside advisor`s daughter I was asked to tutor I have taught and tutored to gcse and A level, including pure maths, mechanics, statistics and decision maths. I love teaching but not all the paperwork which goes with the classroom, which is why tuition is so enjoyable. Previous students have done very well, often exceeding expectations and I keep in touch with many of them. I have been highly recommended and have excellent references from students and their parents, both verbal and written which can be viewed/ heard. T I have often been asked to tutor friends and relatives of students I have tutored. Each session is tailored to meet the needs of the student and I have many resources to draw on. PLEASE NOTE : I can do online tuition for £28 an hour by medium alternative to tutorhunt white board. I have a DBS for students and adults.


I am willing to meet students and parents prior to the first session, or do a short teaching session, with no charge, to discuss requirements.

In my spare time I caravan, holiday abroad and look after my grandsons as well as visiting the gym.

Availability: Any evening and weekends.

Willing to travel: 12 miles

Experience: I taught in the classroom in 6 different schools for 23 years, in private and state schools. I was head of dept. in one school and held responsibility posts in some others. The pupils I have taught in school and as a tutor range from 10 to 28 years. I have tutored pupils in small groups and am prepared to do this online (Group tuition reduces students` costs.)
