My name is Melina and I offer a multi-disciplinary method of mentoring and tutoring. I am a Londoner with a fine art photography degree from Arts university Bournemouth and an Arts & Learning masters degree from Goldsmiths University in London.

Availability: I am mostly available Mondays-Saturdays online & in person.

Experience: I have over 20 years experience in the arts & photography arena: within education, producing, designing and facilitating creative projects and workshops. Curating for cultural communities, commercially for editorial, fashion & lifestyle and in contemporary fine art for gallery and museum exhibition. I work across all cohorts within education as well as with professional artists & photographers offering facilitation, portfolio reviews, advice, guidance and supportive mentoring services to provide a tailored pathway to assist students individual needs and to help realise their creative potential. Whether you are studying art or an emerging artist who requires career realignment, my collection of roles, from research arts educator, gallery owner, studio manager, exhibition curator and as a freelance artist & photographer, will bring a wealth of knowledge to each tutoring session. With my relatable experience, I feel passionate about sharing ideas and listening to identify where to step in and nurture.

I have a hands on approach and am flexible and open to suggestions of how you would like the sessions to run so that together we can create a co learning environment in person, online or at a chosen location. Our sessions can involve visiting galleries and exhibitions, chatting in cafes and setting projects to carry out practically, providing you with constructive critical feedback throughout.
