I got in contact with Vanessa to help my child with their Spanish GCSE oral exam and Vanessa was excellent at quickly understanding exactly what my child needed help with and giving them invaluable confidence to do well in the exam. My child really responded well to her teaching method and Vanessa also provided some invaluable grammar resources and information on Spanish idioms. I would highly recommend her.

Vanessa has been a complete game changer for my son. He has always struggled with enthusiasm and engagement with language. Given the demands of GCSEs we had hoped that some extra tuition might help a little. With Vanessa`s help he has now totally turned it around and not only loves Spanish but has moved from the bottom to the top of his year group. Vanessa has been thoughtful, patient and tailored teaching for his needs and personality. I highly recommend her as a tutor.

I am so glad we found Vanessa! She is a fantastic tutor and my daughter has grown in confidence and made a lot of progress in only a few lessons.

Vanessa has been an amazing tutor. Our daughter enjoyed her Spanish sessions and did incredibly well in her recent GCSE exam achieving a grade 8 in the new 9 to 1 exams. Vanessa is very professional, she provided our daughter with confidence and motivation which supported her to achieve such an amazing result. I would highly recommend her if you want a supportive and caring tutor.

Absolutely fantastic. Vanessa was a great tutor, very patient, very clear and she sent me lots of material and exercises as well as notes from the lessons. Vanessa is even still helping me over email since I moved to spain.I would thoroughly recommend her as a tutor and a lovely person!

As an adult student with very basic Spanish, Vanessa is the perfect tutor for me. Very methodical and systematic, but using a variety of materials so the lessons fly by and I`m happy to watch videos and listen to podcasts as part of my homework. Thoroughly recommended.

Vanessa has been tutoring my daughter for A level Spanish (Year 13) and we are really impressed. She is personable, organised and highly knowledgeable. She always goes the extra mile to help and is very resourceful. My daughter really enjoys the tutoring sessions and her confidence and ability have improved. Hi Vanessa has been tutoring my daughter since September for her GCSES Spanish. She is fabulous and My daughter has made great progress. Vanessa is up to date with the new GCSES, she gives my daughter homework every week and has access to all the GCSE material. I would fully recommend her to you.

Vanessa is a really great Spanish tutor, with endless resources at her fingertips - and concentrates not only on the grammar, but on the cultural aspects of the language too. Whether you are a complete beginner, or intermediate, Vanessa will make you feel at ease. Five stars from me!

I haven`t had Vanessa long but here is some feedback from my lessons with Vanessa.

Vanessa is a lovely tutor who is willing to adapt the lessons to suit the pupil`s needs. She is patient and provides resources which us pupils can`t get such as translation as well as past example of student essays and speakings in order to help you to see the structure and evaluate other candidates` work so that you can take ideas that you think are good and see the mistakes that they`ve made so that then you don`t make the same mistakes.

She explains thoroughly any misconceptions a student may have so that you know for next time such as pronunciation as well as grammar errors.

She is very committed, hard working and a delight to work with.

I look forward to carry on working with her.

Vanessa Perez is a very good teacher of Spanish. I am a teacher and have taught for over 30 years, so I know a very good teacher when I see one!

Vanessa continually assesses her pupils as she teaches them and uses her assessment to plan appropriate content for their next lesson. She corrects pupil misconceptions and always provides a good model of Spanish for her students to emulate.

Furthermore, Vanessa has an enormous range of excellent resources which she can access at a moments notice to help pupils practice specific areas of Spanish and gain more confidence.

I am impressed with Vanessa`s sound knowledge of Spanish exams (GCSE, AS, A level). I feel certain that any pupil she teaches will make good progress in their Spanish.

I am enjoying improving my Spanish in Vanessa`s lessons and I look forward to them because she makes them lively and interesting. She is flexible about the lesson content and is always happy to include aspects of Spanish culture
when I ask her to.

I highly recommend Vanessa Perez as a Spanish teacher.

Vanessa has tutored my son for four months now. He started the A-level Spanish course but lacked confidence and was not ready for the A-level content although he had an A in his GCSE. He is now coping well and his Spanish teachers have predicted an A grade. They are impressed with the progress he has made over such a short time especially with his spoken and written Spanish. He is now confident and participates well in class. We feel this is due to his own application and to Vanessa`s ability to provide him with motivating and well-prepared lessons. Vanessa plans carefully and thinks about his next steps. She is encouraging and knows the curriculum and exam board demands well. My son likes her and finds her encouraging. She has high expectations of him and provides plenty of support in the lessons and with extension tasks.

Vanessa is one of two tutors teaching my daughter Livia Spanish at AS level which she is taking externally. She is a friendly and charming person who is well prepared and has a good knowledge of the syllabus. After three months we are both very satisfied with her work.

Vanessa has been my A level Spanish tutor for almost a year now and I have been really pleased with her teaching style. She always comes to the lessons well prepared with resources that aren`t available in school. The lessons fly by as she always keeps them interesting, interactive and informative. She has also been really good in pushing me to work harder and I feel like I have really achieved my potential with her and would strongly recomend her to anyone looking for a Spanish tutor.
