I offer tutoring sessions for primary aged children which provide opportunities for 1-1 teaching and support in order to maximise a child`s potential for development and progress. I aim to support what is being taught in schools by building on the curriculum and tailoring my approach to each child`s specific needs. It is often the case that in a class of 30 children, one child`s specific learning style or needs get overlooked and this is something that can be addressed through tutoring from a qualified and experienced educator.

Availability: Homework Plus- I am available for small group or 1-1 sessions after school on week nights.
Home-School Support- I am available to support children being home schooled during school day hours.

I prefer to tutor from my home, but will travel to areas of central Plymouth in certain cases (such as home school support).

Experience: I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2003 and have worked in various capacities in the UK and abroad since then. I have taught in the primary classroom across all age phases, trained other teachers and have been the Head teacher of two independent schools. I am currently self employed and doing tutoring, consultancy and supply teaching.
