I am a second year chemistry student at Oxford University who is keen to learn and keen to teach. Having sat the reformed A-Level and GCSE courses, I am confident I can an effective mentor in helping my students achieve the grades they deserve. I have tutored many students over the last 3 years for GCSE and A-level maths as well as being a founding member of a mentoring system our school had designed. I can also give UCAS advice for those applying to the top universities, providing insights into what can make you stand out from the rest.

Experience: As mentioned, I have tutored multiple students in the past for A-level and GCSE maths, teaching those at a wide range of abilities. As such, I can tailor my teaching style to a student`s preference and am proficient at identifying weaknesses. I am particularly effective at sharpening a student`s exam technique tailored towards the specific exams they are sitting. I also have experience mentoring throughout my time in school, the aforementioned mentoring system required me to sit one to one with students and explain certain concepts to them, as well as go over past paper problems on a regular basis.
